North America's Largest Ocean Reserve

The president of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto, just took a huge step for the ocean optimism world. He designated a 58,000 square mile region on the southwestern coast of Mexico as a protected area. This makes it North America's Largest ocean reserve. This area contains a wide array of ocean life and will now continue to be able to flourish.  This area is home to dozens of fish that do not live anywhere else in the world. Many species of sea turtles and sharks also call this area home. We can now be sure that this area stays rich in biodiversity. President Enrique is receiving a lot of love from the ocean optimism world for this incredible act!
