Saving the Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the largest coral reefs on the planet. In fact, it's so big that it's actually visible from space. Today, climate change is threatening the life of this reef in it's entirety, but Australia isn't giving up. Australia has invested over $200 million dollars which will go towards protecting this reef, and has also created the 2050 Reef Plan, which has set clear targets & objectives that will be followed all the way until the year 2050. They hope that by following the strict guidelines of the plan, that the reef will continue to thrive for years to come.
